Hi, I was out for the weekend and when I came back my refrigerator stopped cooling. Freezer is not cooling like it should either. My freezer temperature does not go below 40F. The compressor stays on constantly and does not stop. I hooked up my clamp meter and the current draw on compressor is about 1amp. The fans in the freezer section and one in the back by the compressor are working. I cleaned the coils underneath the fridge and the back.
Also, I defrosted the freezer coil where there was ice built up only on the upper portion of the coil. I let it defrost overnight. When I turned fridge back on in the morning, the compressor would continue to run and had ice built up in the same spot within two hours or so. Please see attached picture.
