Hello folks!
I made the questionable decision of buying an old serial terminal. It seems likely to be forked from the VT102 standard, and a bunch of folks keep telling me it probably came from an HVAC system.
I almost have it working on a linux box. It works alright for putting in basic commands but if you try vttest or irssi or anything fancier it continues to vomit what might be cursor commands all over the screen.
I can't link photos as a new member so I've attached them. The second is a photo of the general hardware in case anybody recognizes it, and it full of gibberish including some I've now fixed. The first is the specific gibberish I'm seeing during this stage of progress. It managed to hang vttest!
Does anybody know what kind of modifications I would need to make to the termfile or anywhere else to get it fully working? I can't even find part numbers on this thing, so even if this isn't exactly your thing but you have a manual, that would be crazy helpful.
Thanks a bunch!
